Your day-by-day itinerary

  1. Guwahati → Shillong

    Meet on arrival at Guwahati airport and drive to Shillong, stopping at Umiam Lake. Check in and visit the Cathedral of Mary if arrival time permits.

  2. Shillong → Cherrapunjee → Shillong

    Leave after breakfast for Cherrapunjee via Duwan Sing Syiem viewpoint. Visit Seven Sisters Falls, Nohkalikai Falls and Mawsmai Cave. Return to Shillong after lunch, with time to walk around Police Bazaar.

  3. Shillong → Mawlynnong → Dawki → Shillong

    Explore Mawlynnong village, its Sky Walk and Khasi village life. Walk to the living root bridge at nearby Rewai, then continue to Dawki and the Umngot River for a country-boat excursion and views towards the Bangladesh border. Boating and local visits depend on conditions. Carry a packed lunch if needed.

  4. Shillong → Kaziranga

    Drive from Shillong to Kaziranga. An evening Assamese cultural performance may be arranged at Kohora or the Orchid and Biodiversity Park, subject to the local programme.

  5. Kaziranga wildlife & local life

    The itinerary plans an early elephant ride followed by breakfast and a jeep safari in the Central or Western Range. In the afternoon, visit a local village, view a tea garden from outside and explore the Orchid and Biodiversity Park. Safari timings, ranges and rides are subject to park arrangements; sightings are not guaranteed.

  6. Kaziranga → Guwahati

    Drive to Guwahati, then visit Kamakhya Temple and Assam State Museum if their schedules allow. An evening Brahmaputra cruise is optional, on direct payment and subject to availability and water level.

    After breakfast, check out and transfer to Guwahati airport for your onward journey.

This itinerary sets out the planned route, sightseeing and overnight locations. Exact hotels, meals, transfers, safari permits, entry fees and activity charges will be itemised in your quotation. No package price is published; request a quote for your dates and group.

Optional activities & extra costs

Activities marked optional or on direct payment are separate unless explicitly included in your quotation. These may include Brahmaputra cruises, additional boating, cultural shows, water sports or extensions. Flights, personal expenses and any other exclusions will be confirmed before booking.

Before you travel

  • Waterfall flow can be lower in winter. Allow for colder mountain conditions and route changes.
  • Arrival-day sightseeing and departure-day temple visits depend on flight times. Museum visits, ferries and river cruises depend on opening schedules, water levels and availability.
  • Safari ranges, timings, jeep safaris and elephant rides listed in the route are planned activities, subject to current park permissions and availability. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
