Before you travel
- Pack layers and comfortable walking shoes. Hill weather changes quickly, and several sites involve steps or uneven paths.
- Arrival-day sightseeing and departure-day temple visits depend on flight times. Museum visits, ferries and river cruises depend on opening schedules, water levels and availability.
- Safari ranges, timings, jeep safaris and elephant rides listed in the route are planned activities, subject to current park permissions and availability. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
- Nagaland and Manipur have entry-permit requirements, such as an Inner Line Permit for domestic visitors. The team will confirm current documents and local travel conditions for your route before you book.
